Thirsty?

Jesus offers Living Water

John 4:13-14 (NIV)

“Jesus answered, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’”

As we journey through Lent, we often find ourselves seeking fulfillment in things that only offer temporary satisfaction—success, relationships, or material possessions. Like the Samaritan woman at the well, we may keep returning to the same "wells," hoping they will quench the deep thirst in our souls.

But Jesus offers something far greater: living water—a source of eternal life that satisfies our spiritual thirst completely. His presence refreshes, restores, and sustains us in ways the world cannot. Lent is a time to pause and ask, “Am I drinking from the well that truly satisfies?”

 Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I come before You thirsty for more of You. I often seek satisfaction in things that leave me empty. Teach me to drink deeply from Your living water to nourish and renew my soul. Help me to trust that Your presence is enough to satisfy my every need. Amen

Peace & Blessings,
